Kia Ora, I’m Dean Badcock | Integrative Acupuncturist & Senior Clinician
My Foundation: 20 Years of International Practice My journey in the healing arts has spanned over two decades, primarily based in the United Kingdom. My work is built on the belief that the body and mind are not separate systems, but a single, continuous loop. With a background as a Licentiate in Acupuncture (UK) and a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, I have spent my career helping clients navigate the complex intersection of physical pain, emotional regulation, and nervous system resilience.
I provide a unique "top-down and bottom-up" approach to healing. Using Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine, I work from the "bottom-up" to regulate the nervous system and release physical blockages. Simultaneously, I incorporate "top-down" awareness through Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic coaching to help you understand and integrate the internal patterns that drive stress and burnout.
My practice is deeply trauma-informed. Whether we are addressing chronic stress, anxiety, or compulsive patterns, I prioritize safety, consent, and pacing. I aim to create a space where you feel seen and understood, allowing us to explore both physical and emotional layers without overwhelm.
I am a father and a lifelong practitioner of martial arts. The discipline and focus I’ve gained on the mat inform every aspect of my clinical work—reminding me that true strength comes from balance and body awareness. I also serve as a team lead for a global men’s alliance, with a dedicated focus on men’s health and emotional mastery.
I meet you exactly where you are. My goal is to help you build a more resilient nervous system and provide you with practical, science-backed strategies to regain balance in a high-pressure world.
I have a particular focus on men’s health and emotional regulation and I serve as a team lead on a large international men’s alliance platform. I have experience supporting clients with chronic stress, stress-related disorders, anxiety, burnout, behaviors associated with substance use or other compulsive patterns, and other conditions where nervous system regulation plays an important role in recovery.
